This week, we sit down with Allen Deaver—an Air Force veteran, husband, father, granddad, dog dad, Mason, and community builder. Alan is deeply involved in organizations like the Masonic Lodge, Kyle VFW, Kyle and Buda Chamber, and Hays County Networking Group.
We talk veterans, service, and the power of community. Alan has been a Mason for 30 years, part of an organization that gives back $6 million a day to Texans. Service isn’t something he does—it’s who he is. In a time when society has become more independent, Alan reminds us that we need connection more than ever.
A recurring theme with our guests? Being connectors. Need a mechanic? A realtor? A roofer? Alan’s got one for you. Networking is all about people helping people. His advice? Talk to people everywhere you go. You never know who might need the connections you already have.

As he shifts his real estate business toward helping people prepare for their next phase of life, his passion for supporting veterans and fostering community remains strong.
